The Netherlands was the guest 'Focus' country of ARCOmadrid 2012, 15–19 February 2012. With the collaboration of the Mondriaan Fund and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Spain, ARCOmadrid offered a platform for a representation of Dutch art organizations curated by Latitudes.
Hosted within a specially-commissioned structure by Dutch artist Jasper Niens and designer Thijs Ewalts, 'The Dutch Assembly' consisted of the accumulation of 30 hourly talks, readings, artists presentations, performances, book launches, in conversations and screenings throughout the five days of the fair. Contributions representing art spaces, museums, research initiatives and individuals formed a series of 'depositions' and dispatches that analysed cultural practice and policy from a changing Dutch perspective, as well as reflections of the artistic links between Spain and the Netherlands.
All the presentations were in English, except those marked with an asterisk (*) which were in Spanish.

Los Países Bajos fueron el país invitado en ARCOmadrid 2012, que tuvo lugar entre el 15–19 de febrero de 2012. Con la colaboración de la Mondriaan Fund y la Embajada de los Países Bajos en España, ARCOmadrid acogió una selección de organizaciones artísticas holandesas comisariada por Latitudes.
Alojada en el pabellón 10 dentro de una estructura especialmente producida para la ocasión por el artista Jasper Niens y el diseñador Thijs Ewalts, la 'Asamblea de los Países Bajos' consistió en la acumulación de 30 conversaciones, lecturas, presentaciones de libros, performances y proyecciones a lo largo de los cinco días de la feria. Dichas contribuciones formaron una serie de declaraciones y comunicados analizando las prácticas culturales holandesas, así como reflexiones que pusieron en relieve los vínculos artísticos entre España y los Países Bajos.
Las presentaciones tuvieron lugar en inglés, las marcadas con un asterisco fueron en castellano (*).
